The Trip to The Legends @ Fort Canning

It was last Friday when i managed to persuade Dear to go to The Legends @ Fort Canning for their wedding show. I wanted to get the Bridal Package there and also for the free food. BUAHAHAHA!!

Talking about the Bridal, I was shocked that the co-ordinator brought the sheet of paper which we had discussed with them like 2 weeks ago to The Legends so we do not have to re discuss everything again. So sweet of them.. BUAHAHAHA!! Maybe because the boss is Dear's friend and she had no choice but to treat us better. Actually, the co-ordinator is a very sweet and nice lady. I gotta say she had tons of patience on me since Dear and I are both people of details and we won't miss a chance to bargain for our best. Especially with my Bullet Proof skin.. BUAHAHAHA!! After we reached home that night, i managed to find a voucher from the Bridal that we can upgrade our canvas portrait to a 30"x40" if we sign up at The Legends! I instantly asked Dear to sms his friend to ask if it is valid for us. BUAHAHAHAHA!! ABD HIS FRIEND SAID HE WILL GIVE IT TO US!!! Awesome right?! I know i am very gian peng.. If you are planning for your own wedding and don't wanna over spend you will turn out to be like me as well.. BUAHAHAHAHHA!!

Ok.. why am i off topic?! Aren't i suppose to talk about my journey there?

Ok.. This was really unexpected.. On my way there, while waiting for the traffic light to turn Green Man, a lady suddenly called out to me from my back. She was asking if i can help her cross the road and tehre was another lady holding her other arm. I knew she cannot see and immediately agreed. Guess the lady who brought her to the traffic light could not cross the road with her. Before we cross the road, i asked where was she heading to and she told me taht she is gonna take MRT home. Then, i asked where is she gonna stop since there is NEL and NSL and of she take NEL, I can just bring her to the station without crossing. She told me she was heading towards AMK and i happily crossed the road with her and brought her to the station.

On our way to the gantry, a man knocked onto her and surprisingly, she was the one who apologized while the man only looked at her and walked away! What the heck! The man can see and he was the one who should apologised lor.. how can you knock into someone who can't see and expect the other party to apologised?! You know what the lady told me after she apologised to the man?! she said, "we blind people have to be very careful. Since we can't see, we will knock into people." I was speechless at that time. I smiled bitterly, knowing she couldn't see it.

I asked if she is ok to go into the station herself and she said no problem. I knew she is independent since she is workin currently at Havelock Road. Ok.. i knew this since i chat with her on our way to the train station. She went into the station and waved me goodbye, wishing me a great evening and i did the same as well.

I was happy for helping her. In fact, I felt GREAT! AWESOME! Dear said i was kind but i was saddened by the stupid blind man who knocked into her without apologising.
