The Supportive

With the start of my Yoga class on every Saturday, my schedule had never been rest and relax for the weekends. It used to be clubbing, clubbing and clubbing for the weekends. Now, the loud music was replaced by wedding shows, bridal shows and workouts.

Sometimes during my busy workout schdules, Dear was neglected and will have to be at home to spend the morning alone. At first i thought that i should not be so "kiasu" to start all the research but due to a lot of unspoken reasons, there is no slack in this wedding planning at all. Knowing my "kiasu-ism", sometimes, i will be lost in my own world and neglected dear's feeling. After 2 years of self reflection, i sms-ed dear this evening saying

"don't wanna neglect your feeling.. so if i went on planning and overlooked your feeling.. you prommise to reply me ok.."

As expected from the loving and supportive baby, he replied

"ok la. I will"

He had always been supportive on my crazy ideas for this wedding. Sometimes due to his frequent agreement i felt that he was not keen in this wedding at all and i will throw my temper on him and pushed the responsibility to him. It was during all these incidents that i realized he had trusted my choice and wanted to fulfill as much of my request for this wedding as possible.

When i was much younger, I always said that marriage is not my cup of tea and savings had never come into my mind. It was until i met Dear that i realized settling down is a choice and during this time savings is important. See how i enjoy spending every cent i earned, Dear decided to help me with my habit by teaching me to save. I always say that he is "cat", in fact, he is not. If not for him, probably, i will never start saving and will never be able to settle down or plan for my future.

I truely appreciate Dear's effort to change me. He knew i am changing and is trying very hard to quit unreasonable spendings. He saw my effort and recognized it.
