What a Saturday!

Ok.. I know this is a little late for me to update.

Saturday was fun and enjoyable! It started from 0715hr when i woke up to brush up and get ready for the Amazing Drive Race organized by company. We started from Kallang and we went to Sembawang, Chinese Garden, Punggol, Woodlands, West Coast and back to Kallang again. Even though we did not win the race, the process was enjoyable!

After the race, I followed the Four Lees to Geylang Lorong 32 for Ban Mian. It is so~~~ nice i tell you! It was 1400hr when i ended my day with the colleagues and went to Raffles place to meet Carrot.

We met up and went for our Yoga session! The hot yoga is shack man. It really burns up all my Ban Mian lor... Of course our day didn't end with hot yoga. We went for bollywood dance after yoga!!! BUAHAHAHAHHA!! People.. I can now certify that i have two left feet! I couldn't co-ordinate my hands and legs at all! So funny la!

After the enjoyable lessons, both Carrot and I went to Esplanade for dinner. In order to have a healthier meal, we decided that Japanese food will best fit our carbo intake. Dear was so shocked that i had Japanese food again when i told him that since we had Japanese cuisine on Friday night as well. Well, my day ended at 1900+ near 2000hr..

The poor boyfriend was totally neglected this weekend since i was so tired that i slept about 1+hr after i reached home. Think the coming weekend he will have to spend his time alone until 1700hr as well since i will be involved in some company event.

Randomness

Yesh, this is a truely random blog.



Dear and i are planning our winter holiday for this year and we were both struck hard by the budget. Initially, dear was saying that we should go Korea due to the depreciation of Won. Now we are chosing between Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Both Hong Kong and Taiwan are suppose to be a cheaper and budgeted place to go BUT after calculating the amount we will be spending on food, i still think Korea is worth the spending since the meals are included and i doubt i will have much to shop there.

And the latest update after 1 weekend, Dear had decided that we go Hong Kong. Can't wait to go for the holiday since i am real tired of the busy work recently...

WHAT THE HECK! What is wrong with my system?!

Ok.. Today is the critical work day for every month and my system is playing this trick on me? Can you please just stop hang-ing and let me finish up my work? I NEED TO SEND MY REPORT!

Just when i am complaining the system here, it is done downloading. It had been loading for bout 15 minutes lor. So now... BACK TO WORK!!

Thought of the day

I honestly had no idea that i will blog today at this time. This blog will probably have some contribution to my cousin Benny with his ever influencial words that were totally sticked in my brain at this hour even after sharing a bottle of wine with Dear.

Ok.. I admit.. I was trying to drown his words after drinking and hope that i will forget his words after the wine but i was so so wrong. Given the time line, i should say, Benny asked me this question yesterday evening , he asked if i quarrelled with one of the close cousin and commented that it was very obvious. Hmm... we met few times in a year and honestly, i used to be very close with that cousin. When Benny asked me, I had nothing to reply except a smile and to bring the topic over What he had said was we were after all cousins which otherwise meant, blood thicker than water. I had tried to convince myself that it was a misunderstanding and we should let it past. It just seem like neither me nor my cousin were doing it. Both of us were Aries. Base on our charateristic, we will both to just be too egoistic to talk to each other.

There were times when i tried to convince myself to try talking or rebonding the whole relationship with her. She gave short message to me through MSN once and i replied with a short phrase. What Benny had said was the same as what my sisters had told me, she is after all my cousin. We both bore the same surname and blood.

Since young, everyone around me had been telling me that both me and my cousin were very much alike. Well, my reaction will be the otherwise since we are both different individuals. With Benny's words, it really gave me some thinking if things should be reset to the previous. I had never knew that the word from my cousin will influence so much of my thoughts. Is this a message passed down from some unknowned source?

I had dreamt of my Ah Ma but nothing was said in the dream. Both my sisters had been telling me bout the behaviour bout me and my cousin but things were not improved. The words from Benny really struck me hard. Is age really a matter or thoughts? Or blood really is thicker than water? Well, i don't know either. I told Dear what Benny told me but did not tell him that it actually influence my thought for the day.

Telepathy

The first email that struck my day yesterday was the email from Carrot... she was asking me bout the chosen date super duper excitedly. The next was while i was talking to QS, she asked the same thing bout the date as well. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

What can i say about my friends?! They are awsome!

Where do they get the information of my updates?! From my BLOG!

I asked Carrot how she knew about the date and she told me she had a feeling i will update my blog and ta da! she read it just after i updated my blog on Monday. And for QS, she told me she was reading YX blog when she thought of reading up my blog as well and ta da! she got the news as well... Hahahahaha!! as far as i thought, my blog was a neglected website, my close friends came telling to me they received the updates from HERE!!!

I was very touched la... and its kinda creepy since i had just updated it like on Monday. Can this be called telepathy?

After much waiting

Yes, after 1 month the Geomacer (dear said he is not a fortune teller, well... whatever) came back with a second date. This time, it was so near to the date which we had chosen previously. What the heck! Why do we need to calculate so much since we were the ones to provide the date and teh geomacer chose the "better" date out from the 2 given. Come on.. aren't they suppose to be the ones who give us the list of dates?! Simply don't understand how their so call famous Geomacer work. Well, maybe he is really famous enough that i don't know him and he can bloody hell charge so much!

Nevermind. As long as a date is provided I shall be appeased.Actually when dear's mum said the date, i was not very happy since it is a Friday and it will be quite inconvenient to our guests. I had already told dear that i would prefer the Sunday date to this Friday date since we do not have to request our guests to take leave on Sunday. Also, i seriously almpost blurted i wont be marrying since her son had not proposed. BUAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Evil lei....

Seriously... when are you gonna propose my dear? I never say i will marry you lor.

The neglected

Honestly, I did not know what title can i post for this and since i had neglected my blog for so long, i shall do some updates now.

Hmm... ok.. I am not as busy as it seems like from my neglected blog. The updates will still be the same as always since nothing happening really happened. It is like gonna be our 2nd year anniversary now. Plans are not made by me this time since the below happened one day while talking to Dear.

Me: Hmm.... Do you think we should really go for hotel stay using your Raffles Club vouchers?
Dear: Duno...
Me: Why you not enthu one?
Dear: Coz still got so many months ( this happened like 2 months back la...)
Me: Eh... you like never surprise me one lei.. Do you surprise your ex-es when you guys celebrated anniversary?
Dear: yes, of course!
Me: You actually planned?
Dear: Yes..
Me: Then why you never plan ours?
Dear: You are so kiasu... everything also plan 6 months ahead how to plan on surprises?!
Me: Ok lor.. I stop planning... you surprise me.

And from that day on, anniversary had never been our topic in conversations....

Amused

Due to my hormones or happy cells actively working today, i decided to blog.

Yesterday my Orthor called me regarding my enquiries to finish my treatment earlier and if possible, next year. This is because after we broke the news of getting hitched in 2011 to Dear's mum, she rejected the date and insisted next year. So in order to fulfill her wish, we decided to push the ortho. As expected from my kind, cute ortho, he said that i have to give him a date and he will work towards it.

Since i was given the confirmation, i called dear and asked him to inform his mum about it. So now, the status is to wait for the reply from the fortune teller. Dear was told that there were 2 very auspicious dates, one is in 2010 year end (which is what we are looking at) and the other is in 2011. Previously as we were discussing about things and stuff about what should we have for our wedding, i was only feeling numb and excited. Now that we are going into the chosing date state, i am starting to realize that everything is real!

With all these things happening, i am quite amused that probably i will be Mrs Leong next year. It felt so funny la... and i also feel that i am very young suddenly. You know, those kinda funny thoughts just come into my mind for no fcuking reason. Those funny thoughts i meant was those thoughts of staying together, having children and bla bla bla bla. Its just so real. And i am not very financially prepared. HOW?!

At first when we planned it at 2011, financially I am like just right! Enough money to get married. But with the change of plan, I am not sure about next year anymore. Haiz... its really a big sigh. Lucky thing is due to my kiasuism, we had started to hunt hotels and stuff since like start 2nd quarter of the year and even with the shift of plan, we are prepared to execute it.

Ok... my feeling now is still very amused with the thought of marrying dear and sharing the rest of our lifes together. Hmm... but he had not proposed to me! Stupid old man is asking me to wait and said that he will do it. So my patience is indeed running out but i still have to wait.

Wait.. wait.. wait...

So much of planning

Due to my kiasuism and enthuism, alot of things had been planned but not fulfilled... BUAHAHAHAH!

Its too early to say though but i had decided to put all the things down and let dear plan about it. Dear had been saying that i like to plan thing 4 months in advance which i think is driving him crazy! BUAAHHAHAHA!

Voice from within

Seriously wonder if i am really still religiously updating my blog since my work had been catching up on my time. Still, I think I miss my blog. BUAHAHAHA!!

Recently dear and i had been quite busy preparing stuff and looking around. We are trying to keep things slow since we wanted the best and my cool headed man can calm me down while making major decisions. Hmm.. probably this is still not the best time to announce yet so lets just keep it to ourselves ya.. and will update once the decision had been confirmed.

There are quite a few people saying that i am rather silly to do all these before my man even officially action. To me, i think it is really natural to step into this part of a relationship once the relationship is matured and we knew that we are really to continue with our life. So official or not, i know he will action but it will not be now. Cool headed man always have his own plan and he will only do things according to his plans when he think the time is right. This time round, he did not reject to the ideas of starting our research early and know that by taking things slow and steady, we have more time to plan or rather to save up as well.

All these while, he had been very supportive and had been providing me ideas. Stay on... and updates will be revealed.. BUAHAHAHA!!

BACK!!!

Today is not really the right mood to blog actually. I was still sore from yesterday night show down. Yesh.. Both my eyes and my feeling are sore.

There's nothing i can do. I wanted to buy The Peak @ TPY but dear simply struck down the idea because the facing of the house is not N-S. He will only buy it at a direct facing. We are always quarrelling over the same thing over and over again.

His reason: I already have 2 condos facing the wrong direction, why should i get one more flat at a wrong direction?! It is not that we don't have a place to stay if we can't get the ideal place when we get married right?!

My reason: I want a place of OUR OWN! We can do what ever we like and wear what ever we like at home.

So conclusion, he asked me to live with it. We had reached an agreement and to follow strictly on it. I seriously have no mood to continue this stupid topic anymore. Since conclusion had been made and he is willing to give way to some request, and if we are so lucky to not find a place befoe our wedding, i guess my future will be very straight forward.

Hmm... why didn't I think of going to hotel every weekend?

Temporary close shop

See.. I said short right? BUAHAHAHAHAHA!! Ok.. Woke up at 4am this morning to get my stuff ready. Just purchased the meteorite powder from the duty free. So expensive... T_T

It had been dark and cloudy recently. Yes, the weather and the economy. Same goes to my mood. PMS again.

Ok.. Had not been updating due to my busy busy work recently. Believe me.. I am currently waiting for the password to logon to my remote access. Else, i will beworking at this hour. My boss did not reply me while the other boss does not have the device and will only be able to give me the password later.

Had been enjoying work recently. Finally its somethign which i enjoy so much. This is what i had been looking for and wanted. Ya.. probably i have some updates to share but since i am using the office PC now, i can't load photos. BUAHAHAHAHA!

Dear and i went for a short weekend break at Swissotel The Stamford. He had this Amex promotion and we are able to get the room at quite a reasonable price. It was really a night with lotsa fun and craziness. BUAHAHAHAA!!

Just some thoughts

I was tossing and turning like few days ago and suddenly something came into my mind. You know, if a local girl became attached to an ang mo, most of the guys will be digusted and refer the girl as SPG. Well, it is not that it will not disgust girls but most of the disgusted feeling from girls do come along with some envy. BUT had anyone every thought of something different?!

What do i mean?!

We do realized that there are more foreigners coming to our small little island from the past few years to work or study or get married etc. And now a days, it seemed like there are more local guys attached to foreigners rather than local girls. SO guys, stop criticizing the girls who were hooked up with foreigners, the reason was because you losers are attracted to foreigners as well just that they may have the same skin color as us.

Why do i say that?! Ok.. lets take for example.. 3 Saturdays ago, whiule waiting for dear to finish his mahjong, i went for movie alone. So while waiting for the movie to start, I went to the closed foodcourt to take a seat. Right in front of me, there was this couple. The guy, was a local. The lady, was a foreigner. Ok.. say that i am super kaypo but i was really darn bored can! I was listening to their conversation. The girl was telling the guy that she was so in loved with a bag at Taka and she and her friend would go to the boutique everyday to take a look at the bag. She is already using a Bonia bag that day. Then, she start to talk about her friend with a boyfriend as old as the friend's father. That friend's boyfriend, was also a local.

So see what i was trying to explain?! Guys, stop blaming us for being too materialistic that you start to escape to foreigners! THEY ARE JUST AS MATERIALISTIC AS WE ARE! I hate it when people start to compare bout local stuff with imports. ESPECIALLY THINGS OR HUMANS FROM A CERTAIN COUNTRY.

It went back to the conversation i had with dear last Friday. I was talking to him about having our wedding photo shoot overseas because the scene is nicer and we can explore more. Guess what he said that had pissed me off. Dear suggested we go to the country i detest to take photo shoot because his friend took it there and its darn cheap!

Oki.. lets return to our topic. Ya.. Guys, if you think that girls who date ang mos are disgusting, i think you people dating foreign women are as disgusting.. I meant no offence to the people dating foreigners its just that sometimes, some comments ought to be reflected. Don't you think so?

Hey Hey!! I had been REAL busy with my work. Ya.. I know i used to complain about having nothing to do and now i am suffering from the consequences of having too much things to do. BUAHAHAA! Ok.. I don't really have much to update except for baby's birthday celebration. Here's what you might have missed!

I made a reservation at Au Petit Salut that evening for dinner since i really enjoy the service there. It was my second time there and i really enjoyed it! So far, they did not disappoint me with their food and service. Definately worth the money! I told baby that i do not wanna return for Valentines Day dinner since we already went for his Birthday. Any way, with myself getting older and understanding, i told him that i don't really want to have V day celebration. So.. this Friday (Saturday he will be attending wedding and I wont be following, that explain the early celebration) is gonna be a simple event.

Headache...

Whenever the end of January approach, my head will start to burst because i simply have no idea what i can get for dear. Dear and i both had very distinct likings. His favourite shopping item will be watches while mine will be Bags.

There is a list of items in my mind now.

- Shoes from Gucci
- Watch from Hamilton
- Wallet from LV
- Money clip or accessories from Tiffany

Since dear had agreed to let me combine the valentines and Birthday gift, i have a bigger budget for his gift. If i get him a watch, that will definately be a combined pressie while the rest of the items i can get 1 for each occassion. Hmm... I really have the rush to get him the shoes but i had already planned to get him one pair for our big day. Hmm... Seriously wonder if it is practical to buy for him now. I can't possibly be getting him a suit since this will be my pressie for him for our big day as well. ARGH!! i am so confused now. wehat should i do?!

I had been trying to find fault on his wallet in order to persuade myself to get him one. But then, dear and me are people of a kind. We get an expensive wallet and use it like for as long as it can last. He got his wallet like erm... 3 years ago? Ya.. almost 3 years.. Maybe i can get him a new wallet since mine was like 2 years and 3 months old. BUAHAHAHAH!

It will be quite funny if i get him a ring right? That will be like i am proposing to him instead of him doing that. So that's the main reason for my reservation on buying him a ring. Haiz... I fell in love with a 3k watch but it really was too pricey for me to get from him. HOW?!

Happy 2009!!

Ok.. I know i am very late to greet everyone now... I have great reason ok... Because i had been busy with work! Yes! I started work on the first Monday of 2009. Wish me luck.. Until now, I am really quite satisfied with my new work place and the training had been flooding me for these 2 weeks. I gotta learn fast and stay independent. Yeah.. Time to start a career. Now i had been praying for dear since i really hope he will find a job soon.

Another thing to include in the blog was to wish YX a very happy belated birthday!! Without fail every year, she will be the first to celebrate her birthday! Hey babe.. Think your birthday is really an auspicious day you know.. My friend solemnized yesterday!!

Ya... Joanna got hitched yesterday. *wipe tears* So touched... Now she is gonna become aunty liao. Buahaha! Shall give her all my blessings and wish my girl andher hubby happily every after. You know, close the story book or rather Channel J with "happily ever after" hehehehehe....

Thats all for now since i just return from lunch and is super free while waiting for the next training to start.

FAT?!

Well, ya.... really feel quite unhappy and i think there is no other way than to let out my frustration through my blog. I seriously wonder what is very wrong here.. Every thing i bought seemed to be related to "FATS". Buying Nasi Lemak for Brunch is fat, buying Lor Mee for brunch is fat, buying Ban Mian is fat, buying Curry Puffs are fat, buying Bread Papa Cream Puffs are fat. Now, even buy Red Wine for leisure is fat!

I Wiki-ed regarding Red Wines and honestly, i heart red wines and yearn to have a drink every weekend in future when i am honeymooning with dear. Red wines are good for heart. It is not FAT! And neither will one get high cholesterol and heart disease after drinking them. EVEN MY MUM INTEND TO GET A FEW BOTTLES HOME FOR DRINK!

SO STOP SAYING THE THINGS I BOUGHT ARE FAT!
